Malika Sherawat recently was seen with the American President Barack Obama, on three occasions and narrowly missed another opportunity, a poetry evening at the Presidential resident in Washington because she would be hosting a party for her film’s promotion on the same day at Cannes. Despite being a poetry lover (the actress accepts that she is quite fond of the 13th century Indian poet Amir Khusrao and the American poet TS Eliot and Mirza Galib of India, the 19th century poet) her work did not allow her to show her love for poetry.

For the Hiss actress, professional commitments always come first, informed a source close to her. She had planned to hold a cocktail party on Nikki Beach to promote her film Politics of Love months before having received the White House invitations.

It is learned that Malika had said she will campaign for President Barack Obama in the next election.

Julia Roberts says she is “too old” to star in the sequel of Pretty Woman and says there will be no signing of the contract for that film.

Julia Roberts, now 42, was skyrocketed to fame after her 1990 role in Pretty Woman opposite heart throb Richard Gere. The prostitute playing Julia said she will never do a follow-up to this film.

She claims that the world does not want to see an “old hooker”. She enjoys the romantic comedy genre in fact it’s a favored genre, Roberts claimed in an interview with Showbiz Spy.

After years of trying Disney will have to give up the notion of Roberts or Gere ever signing for the sequel. Roberts although still loving the romantic comedy genre says it’s hard to find one that holds her interest.
