Come 4th of October and you get to travel odyssey of big things on your idiot box. Yes, you guessed it right. It is the most preferred show on Colors, the double B, THE BIGG BOSS season 3.

This is the third season of the best reality show on Indian television. Bigg Boss 3 this time includes the Superstar of the Millenium, the big boss of Bollywood, and most popularly known as the Big B, Amitabh Bachchan.

Big Boss is considered to be bigger this year with Amitabh Bachchan. He will play the role of ”Pop Philosopher” in Bigg Boss season 3. This role is a unique concept that will be one of the differentiators of season 3.

Amitabh Bachchan as a Pop Philosopher will bridge the gap between the participants of ”Bigg Boss” and also the viewers through contextualising events, simplifying emotions and also analysing developments that will take place inside the ”Bigg Boss” house.

The show will be televised on COLORS channel from 4th October everyday at 9.00 p.m. Amitabh Bachchan will be appearing twice every week i.e. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Bigg Boss 3 will also have music trailer song that is sung by Big B and music given by musical duo Vishal-Shekhar.

That intrigue, coupled with the unique concept that COLORS shared with me for this season, excited me to be a part of ”Bigg Boss” this year.”

This is the second time Amitabh Bachchan is going to hit the Indian television in such a big way after Kaun Banega Crorepati or better known as KBC.

It seems Shilpa Shetty loves to do something away from the Bollywood track. After Big Brother, Twenty20 cricket and spas, now she is venturing into the F&B segment. Shilpa is on the way to open chain of readymade meals in Britain.

On her blog she wrote from London that it gives her great pleasure to announce that she along with her fiancé Raj Kundra have invested with the V8 Gourmet Group. She also writes that Indian food is much enjoyed in Britain and it has a huge market for Indian food chain. According to her chicken tikka masala is becoming Britain’s favourite.

She further said, “…this was only a sign for us to think it right to invest and procure a 33 percent stake in V8 that encompasses Vama, The Bombay Bicycle Club and Tiffinbites. We also do airline catering and the newest plan is to introduce readymade Indian meals that will be under 10 percent fat.”

The co-owner of V8 is celebrity chef Andy Vama.
Shilpa Shetty hopes to launch this chain of readymade meals in Britain after Christmas. She said that it is great to know that their restaurants are frequently visited and appreciated by celebrity clients such as Brad Pitt, Woody Allen, Mick Jagger, His Highness King Abdullah of Jordan, Bryan Adams, Rowan Atkinson, Uma Thurman, Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan.

Shetty also added that they have plans of branching out the chain to Dubai and Jordan by end of this year.

Rumor is also there that Shilpa is starting this chain meal business in remembrance of the late British reality TV star Jade Goody, but she dismissed this rumor. Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty interacted in “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2007 in Britain.
